Amun has a very high opinion of himself and none of it is false bravado. He is wealthy, he is good looking, and he does not like to hear the word 'no'. He frequents the Pearl often, making it a sort of game with himself to try and steal the courtesans away to be his own servile slaves. The Pearl is of course of high luxury itself, (now) but it is still no comparison to his lifestyle, in his opinion. He rarely speaks with any rank below an Artisan unless he's trying to buy them. He has very selective hearing, so if you try to talk down his ego or his name, he will simply cease listening.

Unknowingly seeking emotional and physical connection, Amun tries to fill the void his parents created in him as a child through manipulation and gaslighting. He can win someone over with pure intentions, but the fear of them leaving is a so intense that he becomes psychologically abusive until his servants question their own sanity and value. All slaves wear bridles and are silent when in public, and in private all servants are to call him "Daddy," the only exception being his bodyguard. He truly believes himself to be that one step closer to God[Ignacio] and his need to pick up slaves like dirty little pennies and polish them up does come from a good place deep down, but he is quick to turn cruel when disobeyed or mistreated.

Amun is tidy, Amun is clean. His house is clean, his servants are clean. Disarray sends him into a fit, neglect to detail can put him into a rage. This often adds to his manipulation of his servants, apologizing with sweet gestures right after an explosive meltdown at a usually trivial mistake they might have made. He likes to get hooked on something, obsessively trying to attain it whether it be a slave, a fine art piece, or another royal's fiancee in bed. It is rare he ever gives up on such endeavors.

Excessive is an understatement, Amun enjoys lavishing in all pleasures, throwing his money around at food, drink, opium, whores, and possessions. At a party, he needs to be the most elaborate in the crowd. The urge to outdo someone always in the back of his mind. He would never admit it to himself, but he practically has a closer bond to his material objects than he does to any living creature.

Also a side effect of his upbringing, Amun's sexuality has twisted into more of a power game than true attraction or affection. Everyone is sexual, everything is sexual. If he's not out showing his face, he's most definitely sleeping under a pile of his lovers in an opium induced coma. And if he is out showing face, it's because he's trying to add to said pile. 

History:

<sub>There isn't much to say that wouldn't eventually become too graphic, but Amun was raised the same way many young Aodh upper class foals were raised. Distant and strict. His parents were not the affectionate kind, and it was clear he was a result of practicality, not love. His parents needed a son to extend the Naeem line, as their first attempt had been a girl. Amun grew up educated, pampered, docile, and well-preserved in the care of multiple nannies and governesses and tutors. His mother left the house after his tenth birthday, his father having been unfaithful to her for years, and she unwilling to take the shame of divorcing him. They told everyone she was traveling Hireath for fine gems of Breim and complex fabrics of Serora, but it was a thin facade and everyone knew it.

Losing his mother figure was no great change to Amun, as he saw her about as often as he saw the King face to face. But it did leave questions only a mother could answer, forever unknown to Amun. And with only a womanizing drunk to worry about, the servants molded Amun more than anything else did. They were not kind to him, not after Amun's older sister married a Talorian commoner and ran off with him, striking her nobility status and any ties to the family. Amun's already unpleasant father decided to take out his displeasure by beating the servants one by one, clearly they had something to do with her decision.

Sexuality was to be repressed in the Naeem household, Amun learned that himself while watching his mother and father interact. His frigid mother was a symbol of pure elegance to young Amun, and his father a dirty, sinful man who chased her away by his lewd endeavors. So far into his adolescence, Amun buried any sexual thought or desire that came across him. It wasn't until he was nineteen with his own servants to command, that he had his first sexual encounter. He was beautiful, even then, to most commoners, and exotic looking. The servants goaded one of his tutors to make a pass at him, and it was if the floodgates were opened. His father found him months later sleeping with the servants nearly every night, and he had every one either sold to the dark district, or executed under false stealing accusations. 

Amun has been engaged three times, all arranged through his father, and all three did not stick. When his father died of an early onset heart attack, Amun has since put matrimony in the very back of his mind until he too, feels he needs to produce the next generation of the house Naeem. He has lived his life the past 20 years rather quietly, alone except for his servants.</sub>
