You're...Welcome?

No one noticed Katarina slipping out of the castle over all the commotion of things crashing and exploding in Damon’s office.

News of the sale at Fallen Angel Stables had hit RPS a little too late, with the Olympics flooding in, you could say everyone was a little preoccupied. By the time Damon was able to place a bid, the auction had escalated and was over in a blink.

Two Obertaurers were on the auction list, both by RPS x RPS lines. Damon was the most upset about his beloved Mura’s son. Mateo Salvador. When the winners were announced was when things started breaking and the languages started flowing.

The only ones brave enough to go tell Damon that Kat needed to see him in the stables were Lyo and Vidar. When they told him she had Mateo with her, it was a matter of seconds before he burst into the stable.

Katarina got as far as saying “I wanted to surprise you with hi-“ before he KISSED her happily, practically making her drop Mateo’s lead. Stunned she would get such a reaction, it took her a few moments to compose herself once he pulled away. “You’re…Welcome?” She grinned, blush rising to her cheeks. “I didn’t see it right that he go to any other home but here. He’s all yours.” She said as she went to hand him the lead. Mateo however, true to his breed, was NOT pleased that this woman took him from his home, away from his Joey. He snorted and tossed his head around in irritation.

After much explaining that Kat had not in fact STOLEN Mateo Salvador from FAS, but purchased him for the sum of the winning bid, Damon could not accept such a gift, too touched that Katarina would do something like that for him. It was agreed that Katarina would be the owner of Mateo and primary rider, but Damon would remain his trainer and secondary rider. With that, they took the grumpy silver black stallion to his new stall alongside Kat’s mare and Mateo’s sister, Newa.

If you didn’t read that solid wall of text, sum of the story is Kat bought Mateo for Damon, and he was very THANKFUL about it. However they decided Kat will be his owner, and Damon will be his secondary rider and trainer.

Gonna be a longggg road getting Mateo to trust Kat as his new partner.
