What is this white stuff?

The ride over in the helicopter had been…eventful. It had taken thirty seconds to load Vodka and the tiny foals, but thirty minutes to get the bay brute Tru to put one hoof onto the loading ramp. Once the big chicken was onboard, the job of keeping him calm was a chore. He worked himself into a lather, his entire body shaking—and his favorite—constantly head-butting Ashlynn for comfort. When they landed, he all but leaped to safety away from the huge machine and waited out of breath for the others to be unloaded.

Michelle and Anastasia took care of checking in and finding the stalls, asking if it would be alright to turn the two foals out for a minute while the girls helped get Tru and Vodka situated. Jordan and Cash had been bucking on their leads ever since they touched ground, and that wouldn’t go well with the youngstock halter now would it? The girls were shown where they were allowed to turn loose the foals, and as soon as their halters were off, the two colts sent up snow bucking and bolting across the paddock. It really was quite adorable, and people would occasionally come over and watch. Ashlynn just hoped they wouldn’t throw such tricks in the ring in the next few days.

Woah! All of a sudden I can shade a black horse? What is this? Sorry the story is a little awkward, they were originally wearing halters and playing on their leads on their way to their stalls, but it just didn’t look as neat and took away from the foals’ faces. I hope it’s okay though, otherwise I’ll put them back on. Sorry Jordan’s legs look a little weird….
After inspections, these guys will be up to the plate! Braided up and trotting around the ring! Wish them luck!
